Aura Print was started in 2007 by the director Liam Smith. With a wealth of knowledge and a background in litho printing he originally started the business as a one-man operation. The company soon exploded due to popular demand and in just a few years we have moved on to nine team members and a dedicated office and production facility on Leeds Road in Huddersfield.
Initially, the company started as short run digital but quickly expanded to offer the digital, litho and wide format printing services that we have today. Over this time we have always invested in the latest print equipment, enabling us to offer the best quality and speed, as well as prices that are truly competitive.
With the acquisition of the adjacent unit to the one we currently occupied in 2014, we have doubled our production and office space, and as of 2015 we are bigger, more efficient and more productive than ever before. Whatever the future holds for Aura Print, you can be assured that the satisfaction of customers new and old will always be at the forefront of our efforts.
Good companies are nothing without good people, and we are proud to have some of the very best working here as part of the Aura Print team. We have a mix of qualified and experienced, enthusiastic staff and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. It's also true that efficient organisation of staff and workflow are essential to maximise speed and quality and to avoid mistakes in either administration or production. We operate a linear system - a job efectively goes along a 'production line' from initial booking in to final despatch via courier. Along with our bespoke job tracking system, this means that we can organise jobs with minimal paperwork and effort, and maximum speed and reliablity. Our typical working day is planned out accurately - we would be nothing without our day to day plan.
The admin department are the core of the Aura Print customer service team.
They answer the phones (all 4 of them!) deal with emails and many, many other things that a busy printing business must handle every day. Deadlines are the norm in printing, so our admin team are always on the ball, answering questions and dealing with enquiries in a timely manner.
We know you don’t want to wait for your quote or your answer to a query, so we always aim to get back to everybody as soon as we can.
